Colby-Sawyer Defeats JWU Field Hockey 2-1 in OT

NEW LONDON, NH – A close, physical game came down to overtime and unfortunately the Johnson & Wales University field hockey team could not come out on top. The Wildcats lost, 2-1, at Colby-Sawyer on Saturday.

Of Note:
Colby-Sawyer's Jordan Teixeira scored the first goal of the game in the 55th minute.

The Wildcats rallied in the last minute of the regulation to force overtime when Natalie Rivas scored her first goal of the season.

Teixeira struck again in the first OT when she found the back of the net on a penalty corner.
