DUNHAM, N.H. – The Johnson & Wales University IDA equestrian team wrapped up the fall season at the second University of New Hampshire Show. The Wildcats took home the top spot for the fourth time this season with 17 points, marking their best fall season to date, at the UNH Equine Center.
Johnson & Wales had a pair of riders win their event. In first level, Emma Davern earned the blue ribbon with a score of 70.370% to captured High Point Rider of the Day. Also in first level was Samantha Kondej who took third at 63.703%
The intro division had three Wildcat place finishers, including the winner. Mikayla Traver took first with 66.562%, followed by a third-place score of 64.687 by Kendall Reilly and Grace Dolan rounded the event with a 61.562% to take sixth.
Two JWU riders were in the top five of upper training. Lois Campbell took second with a 66.724% and Savannah Hoglan was close behind in fifth at 62.758%. Rounding out the top-five scorers was Abby Dwyer with a fourth-place score of 63.5005 in lower training.
JWU will resume its competition schedule in the spring.
