Baseball Rally Comes up Short 4-3 at Saint Joseph’s in GNAC Tournament

STANDISH, Maine – The Johnson & Wales University baseball team made a valiant effort to come back from a four-run deficit at Saint Joseph's College on Thursday. The Wildcats dropped a 4-3 decision to the Monks in the GNAC Tournament.

Of Note:
JWU will take on the loser of the Lasell-Suffolk contest at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Fraser Field in Lynn, Mass.

The Monks scored a run in each of the first four innings off JWU starter Josh Mousseau.

Aidan Hagarty, Armani Henderson and Joe Maracic came through with three-straight singles in the seventh. Tim Lombardi followed with a single to plate Hagarty and Henderson.

An inning later, Colby Greenhalgh got on with a one-out single. Alex Domingos ripped a double to center field that allowed Greenhalgh to score.
