Greenhalgh Tabbed GNAC POW for Third Time

WINTHROP, Mass. – For the third time this year, Johnson & Wales University catcher Colby Greenhalgh has been recognized by the conference office. On Monday, he was named GNAC Player of the Week.

A native of Plainfield, Conn., Greenhalgh earned the fourth weekly award of his career. Grayson Jennings from Saint Joseph's (Maine) was named Pitcher of the Week and Albertus Magnus' Eduardo Pena collected Rookie of the Week.

During four games last week, Greenhalgh hit .417 with a .529 on-base percentage and .750 slugging percentage. He had two extra-base hits - a home run and a double at Albertus Magnus - and went 2-for-3 in game two at Norwich.

Johnson & Wales is the three seed in the upcoming GNAC Tournament. The Wildcats will host Anna Maria at 3:30 p.m. in Tuesday's first round.
