PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The JWU (Providence) wrestling program sits at No. 8 in the latest The Open Mat Team Tournament Rankings (December 3) Team Tournament Rankings and No. 7 in Team Dual.

The Wildcats have seven student-athletes in the national rankings; these rankings remain unchanged since the last poll was released on December 26, 2024.

• Freshman Nico Rivera (125 lbs.): No. 5 with an 11-0 record
• Sophomore Peyton Ellis (133 lbs.): No. 4 with a 12-0 record
• Sophomore Jack Richardson (165 lbs.): No. 6 with an 8-0 record
• Graduate student Shane Reitsma (174 lbs.): No. 20 with a 9-4 record
• Senior Adolfo Betancur (285 lbs.): No. 5 with a 6-3 record
