To kick off the year, JWU Fitness & Recreation is offering three recreational opportunities for students. Beginning next week, students can join a fitness instructor on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from noon to 1 p.m., for weekly Wildcat Workouts. Lawn Games will take place on Wednesday nights from 4 to 5 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. Each event is capped at 15 people and are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so secure your spot online. Be on the lookout for more offerings in coming weeks.
Strength Circuit Training – Tuesdays, 4-5 pm @ The Rink (15 students max)
Workouts are designed to teach basic and advanced lifting techniques. Performance based workouts, conducted in circuit training pods.
SIGN UP - 09/08
(15 students max each hour) – Wednesdays, 4-5 pm & 5-6 pm on the lawn in front of Wildcat Center (where the Wildcat statue is)
In addition, Willie's Walking Trails are open to all students who desire some exercise and fresh air.
