Fitness and Rec Sign-Ups

Please be reminded that all spaces are open to registered JWU students and on-campus faculty and staff ONLY and will not be open to alumni during spring 2021, until further notice.

To comply with Rhode Island regulations, space is limited to a certain amount of students at a time and advanced reservations are required. Additionally, you will be required to bring your own water, arrive wearing a mask, and maintain 6-foot distancing at all times. There will be NO locker room areas provided for changing or storage of items. The staff will not be responsible for monitoring any items brought into these areas, or any items that are lost or stolen. We encourage you to bring a water bottle and ID only.

Once you make your reservations online, please arrive at the area five minutes before your workout time. You will check in at the front desk for clearance using the COVID Screening Questionnaire found on the JWU Mobile App and then proceed to your destination. If the areas are being cleaned, you’ll be asked to wait outside while maintaining proper social distance. Please be reminded that all students are required to wear masks and will NOT be allowed to enter the building without a mask. 

In order to keep the facility sanitized, we must limit workout times to 45 minutes. Staff members will remind you when you have five minutes left in your workout. Please exit the fitness center when your time is complete so we can clean the facility and let the next group in at the top of the hour.

The main gym and Delaney Gym will be open for shooting baskets only with a one person limit to each basket. There are no equipment rentals at this time so please bring your own. Multipurpose rooms will be available for pre-determined programming only.

Click on the links below to sign up for a workout time at one of the locations. Again, sign-ups are limited to students currently enrolled at Johnson & Wales. No alumni at this time. Students, faculty and staff may sign up for only one session per day.
