Ashley Rey Earns GNAC Rookie of the Week Honors

Freshman Ashley Rey (Miami, Fla.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest for the week of September 27th.

Rey helped the Wildcats to a 3-2 week, including three GNAC victories. For the week, she averaged 5.33 set assists per set and 1.0 digs per set. In the thrilling 3-2 win over Mount Ida, she tallied 22 set assists, five digs and three service aces.

The Wildcats are now 8-6 on the season and will return to action on Wednesday, September 29th when they host Eastern Connecticut for a non-conference contest at 7:00 p.m.
