2010 Johnson & Wales University Volleyball Invitational Final Results

Junior Amy Newman (Los Angeles, Calif.) was named the Most Valuable Player after leading Connecticut College to a first place finish at the 2010 Johnson & Wales Women’s Volleyball Invitational at the Harborside RAC this weekend.   

Connecticut College was a perfect 4-0 for the weekend while host Johnson & Wales notched a second place finish after finishing the two day event with a 3-1 record.  Senior Catherine Bravo (Toa Baja, Puerto Rico) earned All-Tournament accolades for JWU.

Johnson & Wales is now 4-1 for the season and will return to action on Friday-Saturday, September 17th-18th when they travel to SUNY New Paltz for a weekend tournament.
