WINTHROP, Mass. – In just a few short games, Johnson & Wales University freshman Jordan Restivo has made an impact on the Wildcats' offense. A stellar first conference game earned her GNAC Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the league office.
It's the first honor of her career and the first by a JWU rookie since Olivia Cairrao on October 30, 2017. Norwich's Sydney Rochville and Katie Bishop-Manning were named Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively.
Restivo had a monster game at Anna Maria last Wednesday. The Utica, NY native recorded her first collegiate hat trick with four goals against the AMCATS. In the early season, she leads the GNAC and ranks 12th nationally – second for freshmen – with five goals.
Johnson & Wales is back on the field Wednesday when it plays host to Albertus Magnus at 7 p.m.
