WORCESTER, Mass. – The second season for the Johnson & Wales University rowing team came to a conclusion on Saturday. The Wildcats had a good showing at the prestigious New England Rowing Championships held on Lake Quinsigamond.
Guided by coxswain Elizabeth Conover-Prentiss (Belmont, Mass.) and stroke Jaym Henderson (Woodstock, Vt.), the Wildcats posted a time of 8:05.43 in the prelims of the Varsity Eight competition. The Second Varsity Eight with coxswain Elise Bray (DeLancey, NY) and stroke Bronique Smith (Freeport, Bahamas) crossed the line in 9:50.10 in the prelims.
