JWU Women’s Ice Hockey Falls to No. 4 Ranked Norwich 12-0

NORTHFIELD, VT.- The Johnson & Wales University women's ice hockey team took on defending national champion Norwich University on Saturday. The fourth-ranked Cadets defeated the Wildcats, 12-0. 

Records:
Johnson & Wales: 2-8-2, 1-6-1, NEHC 
Norwich: 7-2, 7-0 NEHC 

Goalkeepers:
JWU: Jasmine Mucci (L, 2-7-2) 36 saves, 12 goals
NU: Alexa Berg (W, 3-1-0) 13 saves, 0 goals 

Of Note:
Norwich got on the board quickly with a Morgan Tefft goal in the third minute of the game. Bryn Labbe added another goal just a minute and a half later.

Norwich led in shots, 48-13, with NEHC Rookie of the Week Jasmine Mucci making 36 saves.
