Ensor Scores Twice in 4-2 Win at Salem State

SALEM, Mass. – Kathy Ensor scored in the final minute to lift the Johnson & Wales University women's ice hockey team to victory on Friday. The Wildcats went on the road to defeat Salem State, 4-2.

Of Note:
The Vikings tied the game at 2-2 at the 17:10 mark of the third period. The game was on its way to overtime when Ensor found the back of the net with 57 seconds left on the clock.

Summer Britton added an empty net goal – the first for JWU in over two years – to seal the victory.

After a scoreless first period, Ensor got the scoring started with a goal at the 6:59 mark, her first goal of the season.

Salem State tied the game with 66 seconds left in the period, but Hannah Tracy gave JWU the lead back 11 seconds later when she put back the rebound of Kathryn Mason's missed shot.

The two teams are back on the ice Saturday when the Wildcats host the Vikings at 3:55 p.m.
