Women’s Ice Hockey Drops 4-0 Decision at Bowdoin

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Host Bowdoin College was too much for the Johnson & Wales University women's ice hockey team on Saturday. The Polar Bears defeated the Wildcats, 4-0.

The loss dropped the Wildcats to 3-7-3 while the Polar Bears improved to 5-0-1.

The Polar Bears struck for their first two goals early in the first and second periods. Julie Dachille scored at the 3:31 mark of the first half and Meade Avery found the back of the net just 6:30 into the second frame.

The Wildcats will be back on the ice in 2018 when they play host to New England College on January 6.
