WESTFIELD, Mass. – Bolstered by a trio of season-low rounds, the Johnson & Wales University women's golf team tied its lowest round of the season Saturday. Unfortunately, the Wildcats lost 379-399 to Westfield State at the Shaker Farms Country Club.
Firing the lowest round for the Wildcats was Megan LeBlanc (Madison, Conn.) as she shot a season-low 88. Next on the team with a season-low was rookie Caroline Mettler (Buffton, Ind.) at 98. Megan Janis (Commack, NY) was the third player to record her low round of the season with a 103.
JWU is back on the course Sunday in a rematch against the Owls.
