Women’s Golf Takes Second at RIC Invitational

WARWICK, RI – Back on the course for the second day in a row, the Johnson & Wales University women's golf team placed second at the Rhode Island College Invitational. The Wildcats shot a 433 at the Valley Country Club.

Megan LeBlanc (Madison, Conn.) was the top finisher for JWU as she carded a 101. Megan Janis (Commack, NY) was two strokes better than her Saturday score as she posted a 108. Rookie Caroline Mettler (Buffton, Ind.) was next at 110. Megan Ogden (Canadaigua, NY) and Catherine Rodger (Marshfield, Mass.) were next at 114 and 129, respectively.

Johnson & Wales is off until April 22-23 when it travels to Westfield State for its final event of the season.
