Taylor Cwalinski Tabbed An All-GNAC Selection

Freshman softball standout Taylor Cwalinski (Jackson, N.J.) was named a Second Team All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference selection, announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Cwalinski was named a second-team all-conference selection after posting a 12-11 record with a 2.48 ERA.  Both of those marks ranked her in the top-five in the GNAC.  She also had a remarkable strikeout-to-walk ratio, recording 179 strikeouts with only 36 walks.  Cwalinski had a solid season at the plate for the Wildcats, recording 18 and 13 RBI with two home runs.

JWU finished the 2011 campaign with a 20-23 record, 12-12 in the GNAC which was good for the sixth-place finish.  The Wildcats then make a run through the conference playoffs, reaching the semifinals.
