Sailing Places Third At Lake Mascoma Invitational

The Johnson & Wales University sailing team notched a third place finish at the Lake Mascoma Invitational, hosted by Dartmouth College on Saturday.  The Wildcats also headed to the "No Ringer Regatta" on Sunday, but the weather wouldn't cooperate as the regatta was cancelled due to the lack of wind.

The Wildcats team sophomore Emily Greagori (Warminster, Pa.) and junior Michael Hoffman (Oakville, Conn.) led the Wildcats in the "A" division while sophomore Gregory Henkelman (Clarks Summit, Pa.) and senior Rebecca Lingard (Needham, Mass.) were in the "B" boats for the day.

JWU wrapped up the 2011 campaign after one of the most successful seasons competing in the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association in school history.  The Wildcats had a pair of top-10 finishes, including the school's first ever win in a regatta by taking the Western Invitational.
