Men’s Cross Country Notches 19th Place Finish At NCAA Division III New England Championship
The men's cross country team notched a 19th place finish at the 2011 NCAA Division III New England Championship, hosted by Bowdoin College on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats finished with 585 points while Williams took the team title with 88 points on the afternoon.
Once again, junior Jeff Hartmann (Osseo, Minn.) paced Johnson & Wales with a 31st place finish in a time of 25:24 over the 8K course. Junior Greg Redfield (Penfield, N.Y.) clocked a time of 26:24 which was good for 78th while Senior Nathan Smith (Jamesburg, N.J.) had a time of 27:25 which was good for a 140th place finish. Sophomore Brian Dinan (Geneva, N.Y.) rounded out the top-150 runners for the Wildcats, placing 145th with a time of 27:31.
