Men’s Cross Country Notches Second Place Finish At Pop Crowell Invitational

The men's cross country squad finished in second place at the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College on Saturday afternoon.   The Wildcats finished with 77 total points while Southern Maine took first place with 72 points at the 13 team event.

Junior Jeff Hartmann (Osseo, Minn.) notched a sixth place finish, recording a time of  27:12 while sophomore Brian Dinan (Geneva, N.Y.) notched a eighthth place finish in a time of 17:13.  Junior Greg Redfield (Penfield, N.Y.) rounded out the top-10 runners for the Wildcats, placing 10th in a time of 27:22.  Senior Nathan Smith (Jamesburg, N.J.) also had a solid showing for the Wildcats, finishing in 15th place with a time of 27:44.

The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday, October 8th when they travel to St. Joseph's of Maine Monks Invitational, starting at 12:00 p.m.
