JWU Men’s Cross Country Places 15th At NCAA Regionals

The Johnson & Wales University men's cross country notched a 15^th place finish at the NCAA Division III New England Championship hosted by Williams on Saturday afternoon.  The Wildcats finished with 454 points while MIT took home the team championship with 93 team points.

Sophomore Jeff Hartman (Osseo, Minn.) was the top finisher for Johnson & Wakes with a time of 26:49 which was good for a 43^rd place finish.  Fellow sophomore Greg Redfield (Penfield, N.Y.) was in 47^th place with a time of 26:56 while senior James Vance (Newton, Mass.) was right behind him in a time of 26:57 over the 8K course for 48^th place.  Junior Nathan Smith (Jamesberg, N.J.) had a time of 28:48 which had him in 159^th place while Wildcat freshman Brian Dinan (Geneva, N.Y.) recorded a time of 29:09 which was good for a 167^th place finish for the squad.
