Men’s Volleyball Posts 3-0 Win Over Mt. Ida

The men's volleyball posted a commanding 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-21) victory against Mount Ida in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest on the road on Wednesday evening.

Freshman Shawn Kennedy (West Barnstable, Mass.) and fellow rookie Alex Viera (Bay Shore, N.Y.) each had 12 kills in the victory for Johnson & Wales.  Freshman Gerard Daniels (Miami, Fla.) had 35 set assists and eight digs for the Wildcats.

With the win Johnson & Wales is now 6-8 for the season, 3-4 in the GNAC while Mount Ida falls to 6-17, 2-9 in league play.  The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday, March 12^th when they host Emerson and Albertus Magnus for a GNAC tri-match at 11:00 a.m.
