Men's Volleyball Blanks Lesley, 3-0

The men's volleyball squad posted a commanding 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-16) victory over Lesley in a non-conference contest on Monday evening.

Freshman Shawn Kennedy (West Barnstable, Mass) led all players with 10 kills, six blocks and five digs while Alex Viera (Bay Shore, N.Y.) added eight kills and nine digs. Erick Minnich (Concord, Calif.) also went for eight kills and totaled nine blocks for the Wildcats.

For the Lynx, Zachary Almeida-Beers (Rehoboth, Mass.) had a team-high nine kills while freshman Brian Diah (Abuja, Nigeria) chipped in with a pair of block assists.

Withe the win Johnson & Wales is now 3-3 fort he season while Lesley falls to 0-8.  The Wildcats return to action when they host Mount Ida on February 9th for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference match-up.
