Men's Tennis Loses 5-0 to Ramapo in GNAC Finals
RIVERSIDE, RI – A 3-0 hole was too big for the Johnson & Wales University men's tennis team to dig itself out of on Saturday. The Wildcats dropped a 5-0 decision to Ramapo College in the finals of the GNAC Championship, held at Centre Court.

Johnson & Wales ends the season at 10-3 while the Roadrunners improve to 12-7. Ramapo receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.

Ramapo established a 3-0 lead after doubles. At number two, Ryan Schiele (Lusby, Md.) and Taylor Farmer (Carmel, Ind.) lost a narrow 8-6 decision. Johnson & Wales almost salvaged a point at number three, but Jack Hopkins (Hamilton, Mass.) and Tyler Dupee (Middletown, NY) came up just short, 9-7.

Willen Feygin got the Roadrunners their first singles point when he defeated Andre Barbero (Brielle, NJ), 6-2, 6-4 at number one. The winning point came a number five where Kevin Ilinets topped Dupee 6-1, 6-3.
