Men’s Tennis Falls To Bridgewater State, 9-0

The men's tennis squad opened the 2012 campaign with a 9-0 setback against Bridgewater State in a non-conference contest at the Moses Brown Courts on Tuesday afternoon.

Wesley Estheimer picked up a 6-1. 7-6 win at No. 1 singles for Bridgewater State and teamed with Mike Zagame for an 8-0 win at the first doubles spot.  Zagame also had an impressive 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles for the Bears.

With the loss Johnson falls to 0-1 on the season while Bridgewater State improves to 2-0 for the year.  The Wildcats will return to action on Thursday, March 22nd when they host Curry for a non-conference contest, starting at 3:30 p.m.
