Nick Simon And Drew Pontillo Named All-GNAC

Senior Nick Simon (Rumford, R.I.) and sophomore Drew Pontillo (Slingerlands, N.Y.) were selected to the 2011 All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis All-Conference team, announced by the conference office.

Pontillo posted a 5-5 overall record at No. 4 singles, including a 2-2 mark in league play.  Simon was also 5-5 on the season, playing anywhere from No. 1 to No. 3 singles on the year.

JWU finished the 2011 campaign with a 2-10 overall record, 1-3 in the GNAC.  The Wildcats reached the semifinals of the conference championship.
