PROVIDENCE, RI – The Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team took control early and often against an embattled Rivier Raider club on Friday.  The Wildcats converted on two initial opportunities and continued the pressure throughout the match as they prevailed 4-1.

Of Note:
Wildcats gave up an early goal to Rivier's Adam Cataldo in the eighth minute.  From there, the Wildcats scored four unanswered goals.  
 
JWU's Yohann Assouramou and Tucker MacPherson found the back of the net in the 11th and 19th minute,respectively, while also earning assists in the first half.
 
The Wildcats out-shot the Raiders, 17-1, and controlled the corners, 7-0.

The Wildcats continue their home stand when they host GNAC rival Emmanuel College on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
