Men’s Ice Hockey Stopped by Plymouth State 5-0

PLYMOUTH, NH – The Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team opened the 2018-19 campaign on the road at Plymouth State Saturday. Unfortunately, the Wildcats are still looking for their first win as they dropped a 5-0 decision.

Johnson & Wales starts the year 0-1 while the Panthers are 1-0.

Plymouth State got two goals in the final four minutes of the opening period then added two more in the second stanza. The Panthers were 2-for-5 on the power play while the Wildcats could not convert during their five chances with the advantage.

JWU plays its home opener Tuesday when it hosts Westfield State at 2:55 p.m.
