Wildcats & Rams Skate to 2-2 Tie

PAWTUCKET, RI – Needing at least one point to stay alive in the race for the final spot in the CCC playoffs, the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team accomplished just that. The Wildcats tied Suffolk University, 2-2, on Thursday.

Records:
Suffolk: 8-12-3, 5-10-2 CCC
Johnson & Wales: 5-18-1, 3-13-1 CCC

The Wildcats got on the board first when Graham Day scored at the 7:58 mark of the first period.

The two teams exchanged power play goals in the second period with Suffolk scored just 1:18 in the frame while Anthony Scarcella got his second point when he found the back of the net at the 14:03 mark.

Mikhail Bryan tallied his second goal of the night just four minutes into the third period to tie the game, but neither team could pull through for the game-winner.
