Men’s Ice Hockey Drops 3-2 Overtime Decision at #6 Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass – The Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team nearly went on the road and stole a point from sixth-ranked Endicott. The Wildcats took the Gulls to overtime, but Endicott got the game-winner from Logan Day in the extra period for the 3-2 victory on Friday.

Of Note:
Down 1-0 after the first period, sophomore Connor Bechtel (Doylestown, Pa.) got the Wildcats on the scoreboard just 69 seconds into the second period.

Endicott pulled ahead with an early goal to start the third period. Junior Victor Carlsson (Calmar, Sweden) sent the game to overtime when he tallied the equalizer with 1:07 left in regulation.

JWU goaltender Mike Rockwell (Poughquag, N.Y.) kept the Wildcats in the game as he made 51 saves which is one off his season-high.
