Men’s Ice Hockey Loses 3-2 at Becker

 MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Senior Stefan Brucato scored a pair of power play goals, but it was not enough to get a victory for the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team. The Wildcats fell 3-2 to Becker on Saturday.

Of Note:
Brucato (Lake Elsinore, Calif.) got the scoring started at the 4:44 mark of the first period with the assist from Michael Mazzotta (Mars, Pa.). After Becker got on the board nine minutes later, Brucato struck for his second goal. It's the first two-goal game of his career since he scored twice against UMass Dartmouth his freshman year.

The Hawks tied the game at 2-2 15 seconds after Brucato's second goal. Following a scoreless second period, Becker's Nicholas McKee scored the game-winner just 3:45 into the third period.

The Wildcats are home for a pair of contests next week. JWU plays host to Wentworth at 6:55 p.m. on Thursday then takes on Endicott on Saturday as part of a doubleheader with the women's team.
