Joe Simeone Named ECAC Northeast Player of the Week

Senior hockey captain Joe Simeone (Cranston, R.I.) was named the ECAC Northeast Player of the Week for December 6^th, announced by the conference office.

Simeone scored a hat-trick, including the game-winner, and added a pair of assists to lift JWUto an 8-5 victory against Salve Regina in an ECAC Northeast contest on Sunday.  For the season Simeone has scored five goals and added five assists for 10 points.

The team is now 4-2-1 overall and a perfect 3-0-0 in the ECAC Northeast.  The Wildcats will return to action on Friday, December 10th when they host Fredonia State at the Rhode Island Sports Center at 5:35 p.m.
