BREWSTER, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales University men's golf team wrapped up the fall campaign at the NEIGA Championship. The Wildcats placed eighth at the Captains Course.
Johnson & Wales fired a two-day score of 638 (318-320). Babson won the event by one stroke over Williams.
The low 36-hole total was turned in by sophomore Claudio Soukamneuth with a 157 (78-79) to tie for 16th. Just one stroke back was junior Alex Parente as he fired back-to-back rounds of 79 to finish in the top 20.
Junior Mac Patch sliced a stroke off his opening round for a two-day score of 161 (81-80). One stroke back of him was Ryan Malloy after rounds of 80 and 82. Knocking eight strokes off his first 18 holes was Christian Maselli for a 172 (90-82).
Johnson & Wales will resume play during the spring season as they prep for the 2019 NCAA Championships.
