Rhode Island College captured the sixth annual Johnson & Wales University Fall Invitational, held at the Cranston Country Club this weekend.  The Anchormen finished the 36 hole tournament with a 612 (310-302) while host Johnson & Wales was in third place with a 631 (315-316).  Rhode Island college freshman Patrick Ford earned medalist honors for RIC, shooting a 612 (310-302)  over the par 71 course that measures 6,493 yards.

Johnson & Wales was led by sophomore Sam Parella (Doublas, Mass.) who finished in seventh place with a 156 (74-82) while senior Mike Quill (North Eastham, Mass.) was tied for eighth with a 157 (82-75) for the Wildcats. Senior Tim Wolak (Laconia, N.H.) shot a 158 (78-80) which was good for a tie for 10th place  while junior Joe Connor (Lakeville, Mass.) wrapped up the scorers for the Wildcats, shooting a 160 (81-79) that had him tied for 12th.

This wraps up the fall portion of the schedule for JWU.  The Wildcats will return to action in the spring when they compete in the Rhode Island  College Invitational.
