The golf squad fell to intra-state rival Rhode Island College, 9-7 in the second annual "The Cup" event, held at Cranston Country Club on Friday afternoon. The event is between the only NCAA Division III golf teams in Rhode Island and mirrors the Ryder Cup format.

The golf teamf is currently in fourth-place as they hosted Wildcat Spring Invitational at the Cranston Country Club on Saturday. JWU shot a 320 while Rhode Island College is in first-place after carding a 309 over the par 71 course that measures 6,493 yards.

The golf squad notched a 13th place finish at the Worcester State Invitational, held at the Blackstone Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon. Johnson & Wales shot a 353 over the par 72 course that measures 6,655 yards while Salem State took home first place with a 312.

The golf squad notched a seventh place at the UMass Dartmouth/Hampton Inn Invitational, held at the Allendale Country Club this weekend. Johnson & Wales shot a 667 (341-326) over the par 72 course that measures 6,703 yards. Husson captured the team championship with a 619 (310-319).

The golf team is currently in fifth place at the 2012 Rhode Island College Invitational, held at Triggs Memorial Golf Course on Friday afternoon. Husson is currently in first place with a 317 over the par 72 course that measures 6,522 yards while JWU shot a 341 which is good for a fifth-place finish on the day.
