Golf Picked First In GNAC Preseason Poll

The golf team, the four time defending Great Northeast Athletic Conference champion, earned the top spot in this year’s pre-season poll. JWU picked up 28 points in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference coaches’ poll. Rhode Island College and UMass Dartmouth were close behind and both tied for a second place finish with 25 points. 

The Wildcats are led by senior Steve LeDonne, the 2009 GNAC Most Valuable Player and junior Tim Wolak.

The Wildcats begin their season on September 18^th at the Duke Nelson Invitational (Ralph Myhre Golf Course- Middlebury, Vt.). This year’s GNAC Championship will take place at Rhode Island College on October 30^th and 31^st, 2010.
