WINTHROP, Mass. – As Johnson & Wales University mounted a second-half comeback against third-ranked Hamilton on Saturday, junior Brian Hogan-Gary was leading the charge. He was rewarded for his performance with GNAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the conference office.
It's his second award of the year and third of his career. Delshawn Jackson from Saint Joseph was selected Rookie of the Week.
Against the Continentals, the Staten Island, NY, native scored 29 points – the second-highest of his career – while hauling in a career-high 17 rebounds to go along with six assists. Hogan-Gary is third in the GNAC with 21.8 points per game and second at 9.8 rebounds per game.
Johnson & Wales is back at home on Tuesday to host Fitchburg State at 7 p.m.
