Johnson & Wales IDA Equestrian Places Third at Dartmouth Show

ETNA, NH – Rain canceled Saturday's show for the Johnson & Wales University IDA equestrian team, but the Wildcats were in action Sunday at the Dartmouth College Show. JWU finished third in the competition, held at the Dartmouth College Riding Center.

The highest finish came from junior Lindsay Vollinger with a second-place, 68.889 percent in first level. Sophomore Kayla McCurley produced a third-place score of 63.438 during intro.

During the training 1 competition, sophomore Abbey Dwyer recorded a score of 62.391 to place third. Also earning a third-place yellow ribbon was junior Maria Arato in training 2 with a 61.346.

The Wildcats go back to the University of Maine for the second time this season on November 3 for a show at Puckerbrush Farm.
