Aidan Hagarty got the sixth inning started with a single, moved up third on a wild pitch and ground out then scored on a Rich Bourdeau single. Bourdeau stole second and came around to score for the second time on an Amalfitano single.

The Bears got runs in the sixth and seventh plus two in the ninth, but Steve Rocchio recorded the final out for his first collegiate save. Starter Josh Mousseau gave up one unearned run with six strikeouts in five innings to improve to 2-1.
