The baseball team swept Lasell in a pair of Great Northeast Athletic Conference contests at Pierce Field on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats posted a 7-3 win in the opener and finished the sweep with a 10-1 win in the nightcap. The games were the final regular season home games for seniors Matt Newsome (Providence, R.I.), Mike Wood (Hudson, Mass.), Joe Coppola (Ridgewood, N.J.), Sean Radu (Woodbridge, N.J.), Alex MacKay (Sanford, Maine), Chris DePalma (Taunton, Mass.) and Marc Sommerhalter (Emerson, N.J.).

The Wildcats then wrapped up the sweep with a thrilling 5-4 extra-innings victory in the nightcap.
