Wrestling Takes Part In Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Research Run

The wrestling team participated this weekend in the Gloria Gemma 5K Run For A Cure.

The Wildcats effort was spearheaded by junior captains Humphrey Swift (Danbury, Conn.) and Colin Lenhardt (Hayes, Va.).  The Wildcats put together a team made up of 23 wrestlers and two coaches also recruited an additional 10 runners for this event. With the 35 participants, the wrestling team was able to raise nearly $1500 for the Gloria Gemma Foundation.

This continues the wrestling teams commitment to community service as the Wildcats will participate in the annual Headlock for Hunger and the school’s Walk for Hunger to benefit the Alan Shawn Feinstein Foundation.
