Jenna Juron, Basketball

Sophomore guard Jenna Juron (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) is the Wildcats Athlete of the Week for the week of February 6th.

Juron put together an impressive week while guiding her team to two conference wins. In the teams home victory over Lasell, she led all players with 17 points and five assists while going perfect from the free throw line. Juron led the way once again in Saturday's overtime win against conference for Norwich. She shot 5-for-7 from behind the three point line and picked up six of the teams eleven points in the overtime period. Her 27 points were tied for a game-high.

This is Jenna's fifth Wildcats Athlete of the Week nomination for 2011-2012 and second consecutive selection.

The Wildcats, 9-13 overall and 5-5 in the GNAC, will return to action on Tuesday, February 7th when they travel to first place Emmanuel for a GNAC contest at 7:00 p.m.
