Senior All-American Lamonte Thomas (Providence, R.I.) is the Wildcats Athlete of the Week for the week of February 6th.

Thomas led the Wildcats to a perfect 3-0 on the week in three conference match-ups. In the Wildcats 35 point victory over Mount Ida, Lamonte had 29 points, eight assists and six rebounds to go along with two blocks. He followed that performance with a 46 point outburst against Suffolk on Thursday evening while going 50% from the field and making 17 free throws. He capped off the week against Norwich with a 38 point performance on 15-of-25 shooting while tallying five assists and six rebounds. 

Thomas and the Wildcats are currently on a five game winning streak, all against GNAC opponents.

The Wildcats, now 10-11 overall and 9-5 in league play will return to action on Tuesday, February 7th when they host Lasell College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup at the Harborside Recreation Center.
